Idukki is a beautiful part of the world, very green and mountainous in places, and being based here definitely influences our mood. We aren’t in a rush like people in the big cities. Our office is a practical space where we handle our software-related work. The name Muttomsoft comes from the local area, which we feel strongly connected to. We are a private limited company, so we have all the usual legal structures, but the vibe in the office is very informal. We have a few desks, some decent internet, and a lot of work to do. We don’t have a marketing department telling us what to say. We just tell people where we are and what we do. It’s mostly about building things and making sure they work right. We take our lunches together, often bringing food from home. There isn't a lot of "corporate culture" here; it’s more like a group of friends or neighbors working on a project. Thudanganadu is a quiet place to be, and it suits the way we like to work. We don't make big promises or use fancy language. We just show up every day, do the work that needs doing, and then go home to our families. It is a very grounded existence and we like it that way.
