Vearl Figinic

Our shop is at 2-6 in Gandhi Nagar, located in the Thodupuzha area. It’s a nice part of the world with plenty of greenery around, though it rains a lot more than we’d like sometimes. The building is a bit old, with some stains on the walls from the last monsoon, but it stays cool inside. We do a bit of everything here related to our trade. The front door stays open most of the day to let the breeze in, even if a few bugs come in with it. We have some shelves with our stock and a small desk where we handle the cash and the receipts. People from around Gandhi Nagar drop in to ask questions or just to see what we have in stock that week. We don't have a fancy sign, just the name on the wall that’s faded a little over the years. My wife helps me keep the place tidy, though it’s hard with all the boxes moving in and out. Thodupuzha is a busy town, so there is always someone passing by on a scooter or a bus. We usually close up early on Sundays to spend time with family. It’s a quiet way to earn a living, just taking things one day at a time and making sure we don't lose the keys. Vearl Figinic is just a small local business trying to do its part without any fuss.
