Yds Hair Saloon

We are located at Shop No : 6-6-174 on Kavadiguda Main Road in Hyderabad. Most people find us easily because we are right opposite Ganesh Mithai Bandar, which is a very popular spot for sweets. Our hair saloon is a simple, no-nonsense place. We have the usual barber chairs and a row of mirrors that have seen a lot of use over the years. The shop is small, so it can get a bit tight and crowded when there are three or four people waiting their turn on the bench. We keep the ceiling fans spinning fast to handle the Hyderabad heat, especially during the summer months. You can hear the traffic from the main road all day long, but it’s just part of the atmosphere here. We don't have any fancy air conditioning or designer furniture. It’s just a place where you come to get your hair cut or a quick shave. We talk to the customers about the local news or the weather while we work. The floor gets covered in hair pretty quickly, so we are always sweeping it up between customers. It’s a steady rhythm of snipping scissors and the buzz of trimmers. We’ve been part of this street for quite some time now. It’s hard work being on your feet all day, but seeing the regular faces makes it worthwhile. We just open up in the morning and stay until the last customer is done for the night. We keep it simple.
