Total Look Beauty Salon

Total Look Beauty Salon is right on the ground floor at Abids, specifically at No. 5/8/511- C. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always something going on outside our door. Inside, it’s a bit more relaxed, though we usually have the radio playing or people chatting away. We have a few stations for hair and a small area for other beauty work. It’s not a huge, polished spa. It’s just a local salon where you can get your hair trimmed or colored. We have a couple of sinks that have seen a lot of use over the years. The mirrors are big and we try to keep them clean, but the floor always seems to have some hair on it no matter how much we sweep. Most of our clients are regulars who have been coming to us for years. We know their families and what’s going on in their lives. We don't have a fancy receptionist; whoever is free just answers the phone. Sometimes we run a bit behind schedule if a job takes longer than expected, but nobody seems to mind too much. We just want people to feel a bit better when they leave. Abids is a great location because it’s easy to get to, even if the parking is a bit of a nightmare. It’s just a simple, honest shop where we do our best for the neighborhood.
