Surendrapuri

If you head out towards Yadadri Bhuvanagiri District, you’ll find us at Surendrapuri. We are right on the Yadadri Road. It’s a pretty large place, and we’ve spent a lot of time putting it all together. It’s not just a quick stop. There is a lot to see, mostly sculptures and things from the old stories and traditions. We’ve been open for years now. Some days it gets really crowded, especially on holidays when families come out from the city. The sun can get quite hot out here, so we tell people to wear hats. We try to keep the paths clean, but with so many visitors, it's a constant job. The statues need regular painting and care because the weather can be harsh. We are quite proud of what we’ve built, even if it’s a lot of work to maintain. You can’t miss us if you’re driving toward the temple. It’s a local landmark now. We have staff who have been here since the beginning. They know every corner of the grounds. It’s a family-run kind of thing, really. We didn't start this to be a big corporate entity, just wanted a place where people could see our culture in one spot. It’s a bit of a trek from Hyderabad, but people seem to think it’s worth the drive. We’re just regular folks keeping the place running day in and day out. There is always something that needs fixing or a new display we are thinking about.
