Model Travels

We are up on the first floor of the Modelhouse building in Panjagutta. It’s a busy part of Hyderabad, as anyone who lives here knows. We’ve been sitting in this same office for quite a while now, surrounded by stacks of papers and old maps. Mostly, we just help people figure out how to get from one place to another. Whether it’s a bus ticket to a nearby town or a flight somewhere far away, we handle the booking side of things. It’s not always easy because prices change and flights get cancelled, but we do what we can to fix it. People come in with all sorts of plans, and we just sit down and try to make them work on paper. We don't have a big fancy storefront with neon lights. It’s just a regular office where we answer phones and talk to customers who walk in. Sometimes the internet is slow or the phone won't stop ringing, but we manage. We’ve seen the way people travel change over the years, but they still need help with the details. We just stay here in Panjagutta and keep at it. It’s a local business, run by people who live right here in the city too. We don't make it complicated, we just find the tickets and get people on their way without much trouble.
