If you've ever been to KPHB, you know how the traffic near the Chennai Shopping Mall can get. That's where we are, at Mig 234. It’s a small office, mostly filled with some old desks and a couple of phones that don't stop ringing during the holiday season. We've been doing this for a while now, just handling travel bookings and talking to drivers. It isn't a glamorous job by any means. Most of our day is spent looking at bus schedules or telling people which seats are left. Sometimes a customer comes in and sits on the plastic chair near the door while we figure out their route. We have a lot of regular people who live around here and just drop by instead of calling. The office is a bit cluttered with papers and old logs, but we know where everything is. It’s just me and a couple of others keeping things moving. When the buses are late, we are the ones who get the calls. It can be stressful, but we just handle it one person at a time. We don’t have a big sign outside, just enough for people to find us. It’s a practical setup. We aren't trying to be the biggest agency in the city, just a local spot where you can get a ticket without too much trouble. It's just simple travel planning for anyone who needs to get somewhere.
