Y S Baba Hair Saloon

Our shop is number one, located at Aghapura Nala in the Agha Pura-Nampally area of Hyderabad. We are situated near the Lohia building, which is how most people find their way to us. It’s a small hair saloon in a very old part of town. The nala is right there, so the area has its own character, you could say. I’ve been running this place for years and most of my customers are regulars who have been coming since they were kids. We do simple haircuts and shaves. The shop isn't much to look at from the outside, just a small door and a sign. Inside, I have my favorite chair and all my scissors laid out on the counter. It’s a bit cramped when three or four people are waiting, but nobody seems to mind. We talk about the news or what’s happening in Nampally while I work. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so the fan is always running at full speed. I don't use any high-end products, just the standard soaps and creams that have worked for years. Every morning I sweep the front and get the water ready. It’s a simple life running a saloon here. The neighborhood is noisy and crowded, but that’s just how it is. We keep the prices low because the people around here are working hard. It’s just a place to get a clean shave and a decent haircut without any fuss for the local guys.
