Woodspace Industries

If you head down towards Miyapur and Bachupally, you’ll find us spread out across a few plots near Sy. No. 311 and 312. Woodspace Industries is a place where there is always the sound of saws and the smell of fresh cut lumber. It’s a big space, spanning plots 37 to 40 and 45 to 78, so there is plenty of room to move things around. We spend most of our time out in the heat, moving wood and making sure things are cut to the right size. It’s hard on the hands and we all have our fair share of splinters and bruises. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning; we’re mostly out where the action is. The crew here is a tough bunch, and they don't say much, but they know how to handle the equipment. We get orders from all over the Qutbullapur Mandal area, and sometimes from further out in the R.R. District. It’s a lot of physical labor, and things can get pretty disorganized when a big delivery comes in or when we’re trying to clear out some old stock. We don't bother with much else besides the wood. We just show up, do the cutting and the stacking, and then go home tired. It’s a straightforward way to make a living, and the yard always feels alive with the work going on. There isn't much more to it than that, just wood and hard work.
