Ak Interiors Contractors

Our office is tucked away at 8-2-413/1/B on Road No. 4 in Banjara Hills, but honestly, we’re hardly ever there. Ak Interiors Contractors is more of a boots-on-the-ground kind of operation. Most of the time, we’re at some site across Hyderabad, dealing with dust, wood chips, and the constant sound of drills. We started this because we liked building things, and it just grew from there. It’s not all pretty sketches and fancy samples. A lot of it is just making sure the electrical lines are right and the tiles are level. We have a regular group of carpenters and painters who know how we like things done. Sometimes things go wrong, like a shipment of materials getting stuck in traffic or a wall not being as straight as we thought, and we just have to figure it out on the fly. That’s just part of contracting. We don’t have a big corporate structure. It’s mostly just us and our phone calls to clients and suppliers. When we do get back to the office, it's usually just to do some paperwork and grab more tools. It’s a busy life, and your hands never stay clean for long. We enjoy the process of seeing a bare room turn into something useful. It’s hard work, but we like the results at the end of the day. The traffic in Banjara Hills is a headache, though.
