Western Dairy Ice Cream

You’ll see us over at 9-4-131/1/B/200 in Nadeem Colony, which is part of the Tolichowki area. It’s a residential neighborhood, so we see a lot of the same people every single day. We spend our time mixing the dairy and getting the freezers to the right temperature so the texture comes out okay. It’s not a corporate chain or anything like that, just a local spot where we do our own thing. The kids from the colony usually come by after school lets out, and that’s the busiest time of the day for us. We have a few benches where people can sit, but mostly they just grab something and walk back to their houses. Tolichowki can get pretty crowded, but Nadeem Colony is a bit tucked away, which we like. We don't spend money on big ads or fancy signs. Most of our customers come because they live nearby or their friends told them about us. It is a lot of cleaning and lifting heavy milk crates, but that is part of the job. We try to keep the place looking decent even though the building is a bit old now. We’ve been here for a while and we plan on staying. It’s a simple life running Western Dairy Ice Cream, but it keeps us connected to the neighborhood and the families who live around us. We just try to do right by the people here.
