Vipula Saree Vedika

Vipula Saree Vedika is situated at Plot No 224 in Kamlapuri Colony Phase 2, right in the Sri Nagar Colony area. It’s a nice part of Hyderabad to be in, a bit more residential and calm. We started this place because we wanted a simple spot to sell sarees. The shop is basically one large room where we keep the stock on wooden shelves. We don't have fancy mannequins or bright spotlights. We prefer to just lay the sarees out on the counter so people can feel the material for themselves. Picking a saree takes time, so we have a few chairs for people to sit down while they look through the colors. We spend a lot of time just talking about different weaves and patterns with our customers. It’s not a fast-paced environment. Sometimes we spend an hour with just one person, and that’s fine. We handle a lot of traditional styles that people around here like for their family functions. The lighting in the colony can be a bit dim in the evenings, but we keep the shop well-lit so you can see the thread work clearly. It’s just us running the place, so it feels very personal. We don’t have any big sales pitches. If you like something, you buy it. It's a very relaxed way to do business, and we've gotten to know many families over the years. We just enjoy being part of the local community here.
