Sana Creations

Sana Creations sits right across from MS Junior College in Moghalpura. Being near Charminar means there is always a crowd outside. We hear the students shouting and laughing during their breaks all day long. Our shop is at 23-2-251. We do a lot of sewing and fabric work here. There are piles of cloth everywhere, in different colors and patterns. It looks messy to some people, but we know where everything is. The sewing machines make a constant humming sound that we have gotten used to. Sometimes we have to shout a little to be heard over the traffic and the machines. We work on whatever comes through the door. It might be a simple repair or something more detailed. People bring in their own fabric and tell us what they want. We mark things with chalk and get to it. The area is quite old and the building has some character to it. We don't have a big fancy display window. People usually just see us working through the open door. It gets quite hot in the summer, so we keep a big fan running in the corner. We stay until late evening most days because that is when people get off work and come to pick up their orders. Moghalpura is a lively place to be, and we are right in the thick of it all, just doing our daily tailoring tasks. We keep our needles sharp.
