Lakshmi Creations is tucked away in Street No.3 over in Panduranganagar. Hyderguda is a busy place to be, but our street is a little bit tucked back from the main noise. We’ve been at 4-7-155/27 for a good while. It’s mostly just us working with fabrics and making things. It’s a creative spot but it’s also a lot of hard work. We have piles of material everywhere. If you walked in, you might think it’s a bit messy, but we know where everything is. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just do the work and hope people like what we make. Sometimes the machines are loud and we can’t hear the phone, so we have to call people back later. We don't use fancy jargon about fashion or trends. We just sew and cut and measure things until they look right. It’s a small team, mostly just family and a couple of others who have been with us for years. We drink tea in the afternoons and talk about what needs to be finished by tomorrow morning. It’s a simple life. We don't try to be a huge brand. We just want to make decent stuff for the folks who live around Hyderguda. It’s nice to see someone walking down the street wearing something we put together ourselves.
