Travel Earth

Travel Earth is situated in Rahul Colony, which is part of the Tolichowki neighborhood. It is a relatively quiet spot compared to the main road. The office is where we spend our hours looking at maps and booking screens. There are always a few flyers pinned to the corkboard from old trips. We deal with people coming in to ask about train tickets or flights to visit family. The tea boy comes by twice a day, and that is usually the highlight of our afternoon. We have a few old computers that take a minute to start up in the morning. The chairs in the waiting area are a bit worn out but they are comfortable enough. We talk to people about their plans and try to figure out the best dates. Tolichowki is a busy area, but Rahul Colony feels like a little pocket of its own. We have a small sign outside so people don't miss us. It’s mostly just us answering the phone and writing down details in our notebooks. We don't have a big corporate team, just a couple of us who know how to navigate the booking systems. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to apologize to the people waiting. It is a simple way to spend the day, helping folks get from one place to another. We keep a stack of visiting cards on the front desk for anyone walking by. Most of our regular customers just call us directly now.
