D-1699 - Sabir Patel Farm Fresh

Our spot is at 9-4-131/b/12 in Nadeem Nagar Colony. It is tucked away near Golconda and Tolichowki. Sabir started this farm fresh business because we wanted to get better food to people in Hyderabad. It is hard to find stuff that is truly fresh when you live in the middle of a big city. We get up very early every morning to get things ready for the day. The shop is not very large, but we pack a lot of stuff into it. Tolichowki is a very busy area, and the traffic around the colony can be a real mess during the rush hours. We do not have a marketing department or any polished ads. It is just us and a few guys who help with the deliveries and the shop floor. We know most of the regular customers who live in Nadeem Nagar. They come in and talk for a bit while they pick up what they need. Sometimes we run out of certain items because we only bring in what we can sell. We do not like letting things sit around on the shelves. It is a family business at the end of the day. We deal with various farmers to get the goods. It takes a lot of coordination and phone calls at odd hours. We are just trying to do a decent job for the neighborhood. It is not a corporate setup at all. We just keep our heads down and work. That is how we have always done it.
