Sri Vinayaka

Sri Vinayaka is located in Gosha Mahal, right at Door No 5-5-1044. A good way to find us is to look for Bhavani Wines; we are right across from them. This part of Hyderabad is pretty old and the streets are narrow. It gets very crowded, especially in the evenings when everyone is out. Our shop has been here for a long time. It’s a simple setup. We don’t have any modern glass front or bright neon signs. Just a regular door and some shelves inside. I usually sit near the entrance so I can see people coming in. The building itself has some character, maybe a bit too much sometimes when the roof leaks a little during heavy monsoon rains. We just put a bucket under it and keep going. That’s just part of life here. I know most of the people who walk past every day. We exchange nods and sometimes a quick chat about the weather. We don’t spend money on advertising in newspapers. Word of mouth is how we get by. If we do a decent job, someone tells their cousin, and then they come by. It’s a slow and steady way to run a business. I like the familiarity of Gosha Mahal. It feels like home. We just keep our heads down, do our work, and close up when the sun goes down.
