Sweet Dolphin Beauty Parlour

Our parlor, Sweet Dolphin Beauty Parlour, is up on the first floor of Home Plaza. It’s on Street No 2 in the Himayat Nagar area of Hyderabad. It’s a bit of an old building, but it’s sturdy. We’ve been here for several years now. When you come up the stairs, you’ll see our door. It’s mostly women who come here for threading, waxing, and the occasional facial. We have some curtains set up for privacy because the space is all one big room basically. It’s not like those big corporate chains you see in the city center. We keep things more personal. I usually handle the front and some of the threading myself. The chairs are a little worn out, but they are comfortable enough for a quick session. We get a lot of college girls from around Himayat Nagar since there are many hostels nearby. They like that we don't charge too much. Sometimes the water pressure in the building isn't great, so we keep buckets ready just in case. It’s a simple life running a small business like this. We don’t have any big goals of opening ten branches. We just want to keep our current customers happy and pay the rent on time. It’s a quiet street usually, except for the delivery bikes passing by. We try to keep the place bright with a few lamps since the natural light is a bit weak.
