Swathi'S Collection

Swathi'S Collection is right here in Hyderabad. It’s a small place, mostly just me and a couple of others helping out most days. We spend a lot of time folding things and moving boxes around when new stock comes in. The morning starts with a bit of cleaning because the dust from the street gets everywhere. People walk in and out looking for something specific, and sometimes they just want to chat for a bit while they look. It’s not always busy, some afternoons are really quiet when the sun is too hot for anyone to be out walking. We keep the fans going and wait for the evening rush when things cool down. I’ve been doing this for a while now, so I know most of the people who live around here. We try to keep the shelves full, though sometimes the deliveries are late and we have to make do. It’s just regular work, nothing fancy. We have our regulars who come in every few months for something new. I mostly just handle the day-to-day stuff, making sure the lights are on and everything is where it should be. Sometimes the shop feels too small when we get a big shipment, but we manage. It’s just how things go around here. You get used to the noise from the traffic and the way the neighborhood sounds in the morning. That's basically us.
