Suchitra Agromerchants

You can find us over at Suchitra Agromerchants in Ram Nagar. The address is H No. 1-2-354, and we are on Road No. 26 inside Parnag Heights. It’s a residential-feeling area but we run the merchant business from here. Being an agromerchant means we are the middle people a lot of the time, buying and selling what farmers produce. We have to keep track of a lot of different contacts and make sure everyone is getting what they need. Ram Nagar is a decent place to be based, it has its own rhythm. Parnag Heights is a tall enough building so we get a bit of a view of the surrounding streets. Sometimes the elevator acts up, so we end up taking the stairs which is good exercise I guess. The office is mostly just shelves of records and a couple of computers that have seen better days. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. People who know us just come to the house number and we talk business over some water or chai. It is practical work and it keeps us occupied from morning until evening. Some weeks are slower than others depending on the harvest seasons, but there is always some paperwork to catch up on. We’ve been part of this community for a bit and we know most of the people on Road No. 26.
