You can find us at shop number two in Feelkhana, Mallepally. We are right next to the DTDC office, so there’s always people coming and going with packages. It’s a small shop, but it’s enough for what we do. We’ve got three barber chairs and a long mirror. The floor is made of old tiles that we’ve had since we opened. We spend most of our day here cutting hair and giving shaves. It’s mainly men from the neighborhood who stop by. We open early in the morning because a lot of guys want a trim before they go to their jobs. We don't have air conditioning, just two big ceiling fans that hum all day. It gets hot in the summer, but we keep the door open to get a breeze from the street. There’s a tea stall just a few doors down, and we usually get a cup brought over twice a day. We talk about the local news or whatever is happening in the market. We don't do any big advertising. People know we are here because of the sign outside and the word of mouth. It’s a simple business. We keep our scissors sharp and our combs clean. We aren't trying to be a high-end stylist place. We just provide a regular haircut for a fair price. It’s what we know how to do and we have been doing it for years.
