Sri Rama Spun Pipes Company is mostly an outdoor kind of place. We have these massive concrete pipes stacked up in the yard. They are heavy and grey, and moving them takes a lot of effort and the right equipment. The ground is mostly dirt and gravel, which gets muddy when it rains. We spend our days out in the sun, making sure the pipes are lined up and ready for the trucks. It is a loud environment because of the machinery and the trucks coming off Thipparathi Road. Nalgonda gets really hot, so we usually have a big water cooler under a tin roof for the workers. We aren't doing any fancy marketing here. The pipes speak for themselves. Most of our visitors are contractors or government workers looking at drainage projects. It is dirty work, and we all go home with dust on our clothes. We’ve been at this theater road location for a long time. The theater itself is a landmark, but we are the ones with the heavy concrete. It’s a solid business, built on heavy things and hard days in the sun. We just focus on making sure every pipe is cast right and ready to be buried.
