We've been at 11-3-652/3 in Parsigutta for quite a while now. It is a busy little corner in New Ashok Nagar. If you walk past our doors, you will probably see us working on some chairs or a new table. The shop itself is not fancy at all. There is always some sawdust on the floor and the smell of fresh wood in the air. Secunderabad gets really hot in the summer, so we usually keep the big doors open to catch a breeze. We just make things here. Someone comes in needing a new cupboard, and we get to work building it. It is a lot of manual labor. Just the name Sri Laxmi Narasimha Furniture painted on the wall. Sometimes the traffic outside gets very loud and distracting. That is just how life is in this part of town. We start early every morning. Usually, I am the one pulling up the metal shutter. We have some wood stacked in the back room. It is not a shiny showroom. It is more of a dusty workshop. We spend our hours measuring and cutting. Sometimes we just sit and drink tea from the stall nearby. Life moves at a steady pace. We do not do ads.
