Sri Lalitha Plastic Industries (P) Ltd. is situated in the Ida, Phase-Ii, specifically at 203/7 in Cherlapally. This area is a major hub for various industries, so we are surrounded by all sorts of factories. Our spot in Phase-II is easy to get to once you know the turns. The facility is mostly dedicated to plastic production, so there is a lot of heavy equipment around. The ceiling is high to help with the heat, but it still gets quite warm when everything is running at once. We have a small team of workers who know the machines inside out. Most of the day is spent monitoring the output and making sure the plastic is being processed correctly. There is a lot of back and forth between the loading area and the production floor. Sometimes the trucks have a bit of trouble backing into the spot because the road can get crowded with other deliveries. We have a small desk near the entrance where we keep the logs and the delivery notes. It’s not a quiet place by any means. There is always the hum of motors or the sound of plastic parts being moved around. We take our lunches together in a shaded corner when the whistle goes off. It is just a regular factory life. We don’t try to make it look like anything other than a place of work.
