Mayur Furniture

Mayur Furniture is located right by the Metro Railway Station Brown, just opposite the Moosapet Bus Depo. It’s a very noisy spot with the buses coming and going all day and the metro trains rattling overhead. We sell all kinds of furniture, from simple chairs to big wooden tables. The showroom is usually pretty full, so you have to weave your way through the aisles to see everything. We get a lot of sawdust on everything because we do some of the finishing work right in the back. It’s a local business, so we don't have any of those high-end designers. We just have sturdy stuff that lasts. Sometimes customers come in just to escape the heat or wait for their bus, and we don't mind them sitting on the sofas for a bit. The lighting in the shop isn't the best, and one of the fans makes a clicking noise that we’ve been meaning to fix for months. My uncle started this place a long time ago, and we’ve just kept it going. We do our own deliveries in a small truck that’s seen better days, but it gets the job done. It’s a simple life selling tables and beds to people in Moosapet. We don't try to be anything we're not. If you want a decent chair at a fair price, we’re usually here from morning until the last bus leaves.
