Sri Konda Fashions

I started Sri Konda Fashions right here on Market Street in Secunderabad because this area is always moving. If you walk down Station Road, you know how loud it gets with all the trains and the people rushing to catch their rides. Our shop is tucked in there, near the 7-2-646 spot. Every morning starts with me unlocking the shutters and spending about an hour just moving the hangers around so everything looks halfway decent. It is mostly me and a couple of helpers who have been around for a long time. Different clothes come through here, mostly stuff people need for weddings or just going to work. Sometimes the lights flicker when the weather gets bad, but we just keep the doors open anyway. Customers come in, complain about the traffic outside, and then look through the racks for something they like. Fancy displays or big bright lights aren't really our thing like you see in the malls. It is just a regular shop with stacks of shirts and dresses. Most of the people who come here live nearby or are just passing through from the station. A lot of time goes into folding things back up after someone goes through a whole pile of clothes. Because of the main road, it gets dusty, so cleaning is a never-ending job for us. Having enough variety so nobody leaves empty-handed is the main goal. It isn't a huge place, but it keeps us busy from morning until late at night.
