Sri Beauty Parlour

This little beauty parlour is located at Shop No 3-3-108/A on Janapriya Road. Being so close to the Janapriya Apartments in Attapur, we get a lot of the ladies from the building coming in for their usual things. It’s not a fancy spa where you spend thousands of rupees. It’s a simple neighborhood place in Hyderabad where you can get your eyebrows done or a quick hair wash. We’ve got some basic chairs and a few partitions for privacy. The space is a bit tight, especially when three or four people are waiting, but we manage. There’s always a bit of chatter going on about the local news or what’s happening in the apartments. We don't use any high-tech machines or expensive imported creams. It’s just the standard stuff that works. The lighting inside is bright enough to see what we’re doing, and we keep things as tidy as possible, though there’s always a bit of thread or cotton lying around during a busy afternoon. Most of our regulars have been coming to us since we opened. They know we aren't trying to be like the big malls. We just do the work and let them get on with their day. Sometimes the power goes out, as it does in this area, and we just wait it out or use whatever light we can. It’s a practical little shop for the local community, and we like the familiar faces that come through the door.
