You can find us at 3-4-903 in Sathya Nagar, over in the Barkatpura area. It’s an old building, and we’ve been in this specific spot for quite some time now. The street outside is usually lined with parked scooters, making it a bit tight to get through. Inside, the shop is pretty narrow. We have the old wooden cabinets for our razors and combs, and the mirrors have some spots on them that won't come off. It’s the kind of place where the older men come to sit and talk about the cricket scores or the local politics while they wait for a trim. We don't have any fancy music, just whatever is playing on the small TV mounted in the corner. Sometimes the cable doesn't work, so we just talk. The floor is that old-fashioned stone that stays cool even when it’s boiling outside in Hyderabad. We’ve got a couple of ceiling fans that creak a little bit when they’re on high speed. It’s not a place for anything complicated; just a simple haircut and maybe a head massage if we aren't too busy. We open up early and stay until the last regular customer heads home. It’s just a neighborhood barber shop where everyone is treated the same, whether they’ve been coming for twenty years or just moved in.
