Sree Venkata Sai Ice Cream Parlor

Our shop is nestled near the NGO'S Colony in the LB Nagar area. It is a nice residential part of Vanasthalipuram, so we get a lot of families and neighbors coming by in the evenings. The pace around here is pretty relaxed compared to the busy main roads of the city. We have a very simple setup with some basic plastic chairs and tables inside for our guests. The neighborhood kids often come by after they are done playing outside in the park. We spend our afternoons getting everything ready for the post-dinner rush. That is usually our busiest time of the day when everyone is out for a late evening walk. The shop has big glass windows, so we can always see what is going on out in the street. We try to keep the place tidy, but with so many kids coming in and out, there are usually a few sticky spots on the tables that need wiping. We do not have a corporate look at all. It is just painted walls and a few old posters that we liked. The LB Nagar area has grown a lot over the years, but this little corner near the colony stays pretty much the same as it has always been. We really enjoy chatting with the regulars who live just a few houses away from us. It is a quiet life, mostly just keeping the freezers cold and making sure we do not run out of things. It feels more like a community spot than a business.
