Sirisha Architect

You can find me over at Plot No: 307 in Ramu Towers. We are right on the IT Towers Road in the Ac Guards area. Being an architect in this part of Hyderabad means I am always seeing new buildings go up, which is interesting to watch from my window. My office in Ramu Towers is a bit cluttered, to be honest. I have sketches, measuring tapes, and half-finished models sitting around. It is definitely a place where work happens, not just a place for show. I spend a lot of my time trying to figure out how to make spaces work better for people. It is not always easy, and sometimes I spend hours just staring at a drawing that isn't quite right. The road outside is always busy, especially during rush hour, so there is a constant background noise of cars and buses. I’ve gotten used to it over time. I don't have a huge firm with dozens of people. It is a small operation, which allows me to stay involved in every little detail of what I am doing. I like the hands-on approach. It’s practical and it keeps me busy. The elevator in the building is sometimes slow, but the view from the top makes up for it. It is just a regular work life, trying to build things that last.
