Siri Boutique

Siri Boutique is a small place located at 2/2 Mig in the 3rd Phase of Kukatpally. If you know the Mig area, you know it’s mostly residential and quiet compared to the main roads. We moved into this spot because it felt right for a small tailoring setup. Inside, you will see a couple of sewing machines and heaps of fabric scraps on the tables. It is not the kind of place with a fancy waiting room or air conditioning that always works. We usually have the fan going full speed while we try to finish orders. There are threads of every color imaginable hanging on the wall. Sometimes we get behind on our work when there are too many weddings happening at once in Kukatpally. We try our best to get the stitching right, but sometimes we have to ask people to come back for a second fitting. It’s a bit cramped when three or four people are inside at the same time. The street outside is usually full of parked scooters and kids playing. We spend our days measuring, cutting, and sewing until the sun goes down. It’s a lot of sitting and focusing on small details, which can be tiring for the eyes. But we have been doing this for long enough that it’s just our normal routine now. We don't do much advertising, mostly just people telling their friends about us.
