Nyna Designer Boutique

Nyna Designer Boutique is our little shop over in Malkajgiri. It’s a neighborhood place where we do a lot of sewing and designing. We started it because we liked making clothes that weren't just the usual stuff you find in big malls. The shop is often filled with fabric scraps and measuring tapes. It’s not always perfectly tidy, but that’s because we are always in the middle of a project. We have a few mirrors and a small area for people to try things on. Malkajgiri is a nice area, and we get a lot of local ladies coming in to talk about what they want for special occasions. We don't have a big team; it's mostly just us doing the cutting and stitching ourselves. Sometimes we stay late when there is a wedding coming up and a lot of outfits need to be finished. We don't really do much advertising. Most people hear about us from their friends or neighbors. We like it that way because it feels more personal. The fabrics we use come from all over, and we spend a lot of time picking out colors that look good. It is a lot of work to get the fit right, and we sometimes have to do several fittings. We don't use any fancy software for our designs; we just draw them out on paper or work directly with the cloth. It’s a simple, creative life here in our Malkajgiri shop and we enjoy it every single day we are open.
