Shobha Kundavaram

Shobha Kundavaram is situated over by the Hyderabad GPO area. If you’ve ever been near the main post office, you know exactly how packed it gets. The 500001 pincode is basically the center of everything. Our spot is right in the thick of it. It’s not a quiet place, that’s for sure. You’ve got the mail trucks coming and going and people rushing to get their letters sent. We’ve been here for a while and the walls have a few scuffs, but it feels like home. It’s where the actual work happens every day. We don’t have a fancy reception or anything. Most people who come by just walk in and we start talking. It’s more of a hands-on kind of place. Sometimes it’s a bit disorganized with papers everywhere, but we know where everything is. It’s a small operation, really. Shobha handles a lot of it and we just try to keep things rolling. The heat in the summer can be a lot, especially in these older buildings, but we manage with a couple of fans. It’s not about looking polished for us. It’s just about being reliable and showing up. You get a lot of different people walking by because of the GPO, so it never gets boring. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years, but we’re still here doing our bit in the middle of all the noise and traffic. It is a bit chaotic but we prefer it over a dull office park.
