Shiva Exports

We operate out of No. 401-B Block in Manjeera Heights, Phase I, over in Chitra Layout. It’s a residential-feeling area, but we keep busy with our export business from here. Most of our day is spent on the phone or handling a lot of shipping documents. We have to coordinate with different people to make sure goods get from one place to another without too much trouble. It involves a lot of checking and re-checking details like weights, sizes, and destination addresses. The office isn't very large, just enough room for our desks and a few filing cabinets that are starting to get pretty full. We have a small team here and we’ve all learned how to handle the stresses of international shipping. Sometimes a shipment gets delayed at a port or there’s a problem with the paperwork, and we have to spend the whole afternoon sorting it out. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s mostly just us and our computers. Saroor Nagar is a decent place to be based, even if we are mostly looking at spreadsheets and tracking numbers all day. We try to keep things moving as smoothly as we can. It’s not always easy, especially when time zones are different, but we stay until the work is finished. We’ve been doing this for a while and have a rhythm down now. It’s just regular people doing the hard work of moving goods around.
