Shikha Gupta

My name is Shikha Gupta, and you can find my location at 14-3-100 in Begum Bazar. It’s near the Arya Samaj Mandir and falls under the Goshamahal area of Hyderabad. The postal code is 012. This part of the city is very old and has a lot of history. The lanes are narrow and always filled with the smell of spices and the sound of rickshaws. I work out of this space which I share with P. Srikanth. It’s a very traditional area, and my workspace reflects that. It’s not modern or sleek, just a functional room with old wooden furniture and stacks of files. I’ve been in Begum Bazar for a long time, so I’m used to the hustle and bustle. Finding the place can be a bit tricky if you aren't familiar with the landmarks, but once you find the temple, you are almost there. I don’t have any big advertisements or fancy slogans. I just rely on people knowing who I am and the work I do. Some days are very long, especially when there’s a lot of traffic in the market and deliveries get delayed. I just take things as they come. It’s an honest way to make a living in a part of Hyderabad that hasn't changed much over the years. I like the character of this neighborhood, even if it’s a bit chaotic at times.
