Shankarlal & Sons

Shankarlal & Sons is located over on Road No 10 in Banjara Hills, right across from the Karvy office. The address is 8-2-596/5/B/6, and it’s a spot we’ve called home for many years. Even though Banjara Hills has become a very fancy area with lots of big shops, our place still feels like an old-fashioned family business. We have a lot of history here, and the walls are covered with old photos and calendars from years back. The traffic on Road No 10 is almost always a nightmare, but we’ve learned to ignore the constant honking. Inside, we have our regular routine of checking the inventory and talking to the people who come in. We deal with a lot of different suppliers, and the back room is always packed with crates that we haven't had time to sort through yet. We don’t have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy slogans for us. We just rely on the fact that people know our name and where to find us. The staff has been with us for a long time, so we all know how the business runs without having to say much. We drink our coffee, handle the accounts, and make sure everything is locked up tight at night. It’s a steady life, and while the neighborhood changes around us, we just keep doing things the way we always have.
