Sawarna Salon & Beauty Boutique is right in the heart of Abids. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets, especially near Chermas. We are actually right opposite Chermas, which makes it pretty easy to explain where we are to someone who isn't from around here. We are up on the second floor. Abids has that old Hyderabad feel that you don't find in the newer parts of the city. Our place is a mix of a salon and a beauty boutique, so we do a bit of everything. It’s a lot of work keeping up with the people coming in and out. The building is one of those classic ones you see in the 500001 zip code area. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that. It’s just us working the floor and making sure people leave happy. The view from the second floor gives you a good look at the chaos of the street below. We’ve been doing this for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. Despite all the new malls and stuff, being opposite a landmark like Chermas keeps us busy. We don't go for anything too polished; the walls might have a scuff here or there, but the work is what matters. It’s a practical space for practical people who just want their beauty needs sorted without any unnecessary fuss or fancy talk.
