We started Saritha Charakonda Farmer Producer Company Limited because folks around here needed a better way to handle their crops. Our spot is at Shri.N Krishna Reddy's place in Ramchandrapoorvangoor. It’s not a big fancy office or anything, just a place where we get together to figure things out. Being a farmer today isn't easy with the prices changing all the time and the weather being so unpredictable lately. We thought if we worked as a group, maybe we could get a bit more for what we grow. Most of us have been working the soil since we were kids, following what our parents did before us. The company is basically just a way to make that work a bit more organized. We spend a lot of time talking about seeds and how the harvest is looking this year. It's mostly about helping each other out when things get tough. We don't have many employees, just a few of us trying to keep the books straight and make sure everyone gets their fair share. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit confusing, but we manage. People know where to find us if they need to talk about their produce. It's a quiet area and we like it that way. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make life a bit more stable for the families in our village. There's always work to do, whether it's out in the fields or here at the office.
