Sangeet Designer Wear

You can find us at 21-6-14 in Ghansi Bazar, right near the post office and the High Court. It’s a very busy location because there are always people going to the court or the post office. We call ourselves Sangeet Designer Wear, but we are just a small shop in an old building. We carry some nicer clothes, maybe for weddings or parties, along with everyday stuff. We’ve been at this address for a while now and we know the area very well. The shop is a bit small, so we have to be clever about how we display everything. It’s not a polished corporate boutique. It’s just us doing the best we can with the space we have. We spend our days talking to customers and showing them different fabrics. Sometimes it takes a long time for someone to pick what they want. We don't have any marketing slogans. We just show the clothes and let the work speak for itself. The traffic on High Court Road is always heavy, so it gets a bit dusty and noisy. We just keep the shop clean and wait for people to come in. Being in the Charminar area means we are part of the history of Hyderabad 500002. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who handle everything. It’s a practical, everyday business. We are usually here from morning until the street lights come on in the evening.
