You can find us in the Abida area. It’s a simple setup we’ve got here at Sandy S Web World. We have a row of computers lined up against the wall and a few printers that seem to have a mind of their own sometimes. People come in to check their emails, apply for things online, or just get some documents scanned and sent. It’s not a large place, so when it gets crowded with students or people from the nearby offices, it can feel a bit snug. We keep the air conditioning running as much as we can because the machines put out a lot of heat. The walls are mostly bare, except for a few notices about printing costs and hours of operation. We spend a lot of time helping people who aren’t very good with computers, showing them how to attach a file or print on both sides of the paper. There’s always a hum from the CPU fans and the occasional beep from the UPS when the power flickers. It’s a quiet kind of work, mostly. We don't have a big staff, just enough to make sure someone is always there to handle the cash and fix a paper jam. It’s a useful spot for the neighborhood, especially for those who don’t have a reliable internet connection at home. We just keep the doors open and the connection running, and try to keep the screen fingerprints to a minimum for the next person.
