Navodaya Book House

Navodaya Book House is located right across from the Arya Samaj Mandir in Kachiguda. This shop has been here for a long time, and it feels like it. We have stacks of books everywhere—on the shelves, on the floor, and sometimes even near the door. It’s a bit of a maze inside, but we usually know where everything is. If you’re looking for something specific, you might have to wait a minute while we dig it out. The building is old, and it has that specific smell of paper and ink that only old bookstores have. Kachiguda is a busy area, especially with the temple nearby, so we get a lot of people just wandering in to see what we have. We don’t have a computer system to track every single book. We mostly rely on our memory. It’s a quiet place compared to the street outside. We spend our days dusting the covers and talking to people about what they like to read. We aren't a big chain store with bright lights. We just have a few fans and some old wooden counters. It’s a simple way to spend the day. Sometimes we get rare books in, and that’s always a bit exciting for us. Mostly, it’s just a steady stream of students and locals looking for something to read. We’ve been part of this street for years and plan to stay.
