Down in Sanathnagar, you’ll find our yard where we keep the cranes and equipment for Astha Sterling Crane. It’s a busy spot with a lot of noise and grease, which is usually how we like it. We’ve been operating out of this area for a while now because it’s close to all the big factories and construction sites that need heavy lifting. Working with cranes is a serious job and it keeps us on our toes every single day. The guys here spend a lot of time checking cables and making sure the engines are humming like they should. It’s not a glamorous life, mostly just boots on the ground and hands covered in oil. We deal with a lot of different projects, some big and some small, but the work is always about getting the machines to the site on time. Sanathnagar is a good base for us since everyone knows the industrial routes around here. We don’t have a flashy front office or a bunch of people in suits. It’s mostly just the operators and the mechanics talking shop. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult or a part takes too long to arrive, but we just deal with it as it comes. We’ve grown a bit over the years, but the core of what we do stays the same. We just provide the heavy lifting when someone asks for it, plain and simple.
