York Cranes

Our yard is situated at 26/A in the CIE area of Bala Nagar. If you look behind the Andhra Bank, you’ll see our equipment. York Cranes is basically a lot of heavy machinery and a small office where we keep the logs. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a while. Dealing with cranes means a lot of maintenance and safety checks, so there’s always someone poking around an engine or checking a cable. It’s a dirty job, and our clothes usually show it. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. We just wait for the phone to ring or for someone to walk in needing a lift for their project. The yard can get a bit cramped when all the cranes are parked inside. Bala Nagar is a big industrial hub, so we fit right in with the other workshops around us. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a shiny showroom. We just make sure our machines are in working order when they’re needed. Sometimes the rain slows things down, but that's just part of working outdoors. We know the local roads and the other business owners nearby. It’s a straightforward life, just moving heavy things from one place to another for whoever asks. It takes a lot of patience to manage these big machines, but we’ve gotten used to the daily grind. We just keep our equipment ready and head out whenever the next job comes calling.
