Our place is at 67/90, Alkapuri Colony in Ramakrishnapuram. Manlift India has been operating out of this spot for a while now. We deal with manlifts and other height equipment, so we have some pretty big gear around. The colony is usually quiet, but our yard can get a bit cluttered with machinery. We spend a lot of time checking engines and hydraulics. It’s a hands-on job. We aren't sitting at desks all day. Most of us have greasy hands by lunchtime. We don't have a shiny showroom or a corporate office. It’s more of a functional space where we maintain the equipment. Ramakrishnapuram is a nice enough area, and we’re glad to be here. We know the neighbors and they know us. We try not to make too much noise, but with manlifts, it’s not always easy. We have a small crew of mechanics and drivers. We just focus on keeping the machines running so they can be used safely. There’s no big philosophy behind it. We just show up, do the maintenance, and handle the paperwork. Sometimes things break and we have to figure out why. It’s a lot of troubleshooting. We talk to each other plainly and don’t bother with fancy meetings. It’s just us working with machines in Alkapuri Colony every day. That is how we get by.
