Samarth Impex

Working out of the Co-Operative Industrial Estate in Balanagar means there is always a bit of industrial noise in the background. Our unit at C-7 is right in the middle of it all. Samarth Impex is where we spend our long hours, surrounded by the smell of grease and metal from the neighboring units. It is an industrial area, so don't expect anything fancy or polished. The floors are concrete and we have heavy-duty shelving to hold everything we deal with. We mostly focus on getting the crates moved and making sure the inventory matches what the computer says. It is a lot of heavy lifting and checking labels under those buzzing fluorescent lights. Lunch is usually something quick brought from home or picked up from the local canteen nearby. The trucks come in and out of the estate all day long, so there is always a bit of a shuffle to keep the loading area clear. We have a small corner with a table where we do the billing and the sorting. It gets quite hot in the summer months, but we just keep the big fans going and keep working. It is a practical environment for people who aren't afraid to get their hands a little dirty. We have been in Balanagar long enough that the sounds of the machinery feel like silence to us now.
