Shuklaam Exim Ltd.

Padma Colony is where we are, right in Nallakunta. It’s a bit of a tucked-away spot at 1-8-702/32/50 but we manage. We’ve been running Shuklaam Exim Ltd for some time now. Dealing with exports and imports means we spend most of our mornings on the phone or checking emails from different time zones. It is not always smooth. There are days when the customs papers get stuck or a shipment is delayed at the port. We just try to get things moved from point A to point B without too much trouble. The office is small. We have some desks, a few old files piled up, and a computer that hums too loud. Hyderabad is hot in the summer, so the fan is always on. People come by sometimes asking for directions because the colony layout is a bit confusing. We handle various goods, nothing too specific, just whatever the trade permits. Most of the day is just routine work. We don't have a big sign or anything fancy outside. It is just a place where work gets done. Sometimes we go out for tea near the main road when things get too quiet. That is pretty much what happens here every day. No big corporate meetings, just us making sure the boxes get where they need to go. It is not a glamorous life, but it keeps us busy and pays the bills. We just keep moving forward with the paperwork and the shipping containers.
