S M B Hardware Mart

S M B Hardware Mart is found at 4-2-302 on S D Road. We are positioned right near the DTDC courier office, so it is quite a landmark for people trying to find us. This shop is a typical hardware store where space is always a bit tight. We have drawers filled with every kind of screw you can think of and shelves reaching the ceiling with various tools and supplies. I’ve been running this place for many years now. Every morning starts the same way, unlocking the doors and getting the displays out onto the sidewalk. The road outside is one of the busiest in the area, so there is a constant hum of engines and people talking. It’s a bit of a squeeze inside the shop sometimes, especially when a few customers are in at once. We don't have a corporate office or a marketing team. It’s just us here, knowing where every single item is hidden away in the back. Sometimes the inventory gets a bit mixed up, but we usually find what the customer is looking for after a bit of searching. We get all sorts of people coming in, from professional contractors to folks who are just trying to fix a leaky pipe at home. We just try to keep the basics in stock so nobody leaves empty-handed. It’s a lot of work keeping track of all the small parts, but it keeps the day interesting.
