Round & Square Architects

We are based in the Domalguda-Himayat Nagar area, at 1-2-593/58. It’s a central part of Hyderabad, and we’ve been working from this office for a while now. We are architects, so our daily life is mostly about drawings and site plans. The office is a bit small, but it works for us. We have our desks and some space to look at big prints. We don't have a fancy reception or a lot of staff. It’s just us doing the design work. People come to us when they have a plot of land and need to know what they can build on it. We spend time looking at the dimensions and the local building laws. It’s a lot of boring technical stuff, but it has to be done. We aren't into big speeches or trying to impress people with fancy words. We just talk about the building and the budget. Domalguda is a busy neighborhood, so there’s always something going on outside. Inside, we just focus on the lines and the measurements. We do some interior sketches too, but mostly it's the main building structure. We’ve been here long enough that people in the area know us. We just keep things simple and focus on getting the plans finished so the construction can start. Sometimes we have to redo drawings three or four times to get them right. It’s just part of the process for us.
