Rithika Suits Dress Materials Company is based out of Hyderabad. Being in a city like this means there is always a lot of movement and different people coming through the doors looking for something specific for an event or just for work. We keep a pretty big range of dress materials piled up in the shop, mostly because the trends here change so fast you can hardly keep up. Our daily routine involves a lot of lifting heavy bundles of cloth and making sure everything is in its right place so we don't lose track of the stock. The weather in Hyderabad can get really hot, so we usually have the fans going full blast all day long while we talk to people about the different types of thread work or the feel of the fabric. It’s a plain and simple operation we’ve got going. We don’t really bother with flashy signs or anything like that. People mostly find us through word of mouth or just by passing by while they're out in the city. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk among ourselves, while other days it's a rush from morning until we close up at night. We just try to stay stocked up on the basics that everyone needs, like cottons for the summer and some heavier materials for the winter months. It's a lot of work but it’s what we do.
