Rithika Suits & Dress Material is right here in Ameerpet, just across from the Big Bazar. It's a busy spot, you know how this area gets with all the students and shoppers walking around all day. We spend most of our time unrolling different fabrics and showing people how the colors look under the tube lights. It gets a bit crowded in here when a few families come in at once, but we manage. The building is 6-3-788/22, and it’s been our daily spot for quite a while now. Some mornings we spend just dusting the shelves because the road dust outside is never-ending. We have heaps of dress materials piled up, mostly cottons and some fancy stuff for weddings. It isn't anything fancy, just a regular shop where we try to keep things organized so people can find what they need without too much trouble. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit by the door to catch a breeze. We usually open up mid-morning and stay until the shutters go down late in the evening. There’s always someone asking for a specific shade of blue or green that we have to dig out from the bottom of a stack. It keeps us moving. Dealing with the local crowd is interesting because everyone wants something different. We just keep the shop running day by day, watching the traffic go by outside.
